Vitruvian Osiris

In Egyptian Mythology, Osiris, the god of the afterlife, was killed by his brother, Set, who then cut his body into 14 pieces and scattered them throughout the world. Although Isis searched all across Egypt for the pieces of Osiris, only 13 were recovered.
